Roots of Harm, Seeds of Hope

As people of faith, how can we acknowledge this truth and commit to walking a new path together? Dominican Sister Christin Tomy will guide us in exploring this painful history, understanding its impact, and envisioning paths toward truth and healing. Together, we will consider what allyship looks like today and how communities of faith can respond with justice, humility, and solidarity.
This program invites participants to listen deeply, learn from Native traditions, and discern how we, as a community, can embody solidarity and respect with our Native neighbors. Through dialogue and reflection, we will explore the role of allies in supporting indigenous rights and self-determination, and imagine a path forward rooted in hope, respect, and reconciliation.
